Verasity Token Generation Event

It’s exciting times at Verasity, not only are we hours away from paid token distribution (see below), but last week was full of activity at our onsite executive management meeting.

We are firing on all cylinders, and you’ll hear more about what was decided in it very soon!

Some of you have been asking how we plan to restart our Token Sale after the phase-one sale tokens have already been distributed. Likewise, whether this scenario could create a secondary market.

To mitigate the risk of a secondary market for those who have already purchased VRA, we’ll be generating and distributing tokens as promised but they will not be tradable until either VRA is live on the exchanges, or we launch the platform. Whichever of these events happens first will trigger the enablement of the VRA tokens in your wallet. You will then be able to send them to exchanges, another ERC-20 wallet, or spend them on the platform.

To further put your minds at rest, VRA will not be listed on exchanges until the Token Sale has closed. We are finalizing our initial exchange placements and are targeting a Q1 2019 date for live exchange listings. We expect this will give us enough time to open the final phase of the token sale and close it before the end of 2018.

As we have stated previously it is in the best interest of the company and more importantly the current VRA contributors to finalize the sale when the market recovers.

Before you withdraw your tokens you’ll be able to check your token balance for purchased and referral tokens and will be given your last and final chance to change your receiving wallet address. Please make sure it is correct!

Once you’ve created a withdrawal order for your purchased and referral tokens you’ll be able to check on the status of your withdrawal order e.g. whether it’s still pending or successful. You’ll then receive an email confirming that we’ve received your withdrawal order and that it will be executed within the next 48-hours.

Once the tokens have been sent, the status of your withdrawal will change to “successful” and you will receive an email confirming the successful withdrawal.

When you’ve received confirmation that your purchased (and referral) tokens have been distributed you can add VRA into your ERC-20 wallet with the following information and you’ll see your VRA tokens:

Decimals: 18

Please remember: these tokens will not be tradable until VRA is live on exchanges.

We know many of you are also keen to know when airdrop and bounty tokens will be distributed.

Once we have distributed tokens to those who took part in the Verasity token sale to date we’ll then move onto those who participated in the airdrop and then finally those who took part in the bounty.

It will be a two-stage process where you will first need to do KYC and then you will need to confirm your wallet once more before placing your withdrawal order. We’ll have firmer dates for airdrop and bounty participants in the coming weeks but we believe it’s fair to ensure those who paid for tokens are serviced first.

Please note if you have purchased tokens AND participated in the airdrop and/or bounty, you’ll need to withdraw twice. Once during the paid token distribution and then again when we open airdrop and bounty distribution.
