Keep Going in a World Changed by the COVID-19 Pandemic

STAYING STRONG

In the blink of an eye

Everything changed

Our freedom and plans

They were taken away

Loved ones distanced

Only seen from afar

No kisses, no hugs

Still two metres apart

Now living in fear

But looking for hope

In these trying times

Many battle to cope

In a changed world

Life is not the same

But the love we share

Will always remain

In uncertain times

Of panic, despair

Don’t ever give up

We will get there

For now we continue

And we all battle on

Knowing that one day

This beast will be gone!
