As The World Burns

A poem.

The hands on the clock continue to turn,
as we watch the world burn,
life feels awkward and a little different,
no idea what day it is, wondering where the time went,
constantly having to stay six feet away,
we look at each other strangely, no words to say,
each day we lose a piece of our wealth,
and we can’t help but worry about our health,
millions of people are now unemployed,
the American people are beyond annoyed,
as the world continues to burn,
if you want a good view, wait for your turn.
