Why does Kotlin suck when you start using it?

We all get comfortable with things that align well with what we need and don’t want to change something that already works. However, in the world of technology, it might be a double-edged sword, and we can quickly fall behind. Kotlin is fully interoperable with Java, so including it in the stack can’t cause any harm.

As with everything new, adopting Kotlin into the technology stack may take some time. Let the team familiarise themselves with Kotlin and find a way to use it in specific projects best. Once the developers learn the language enough to be comfortable, they can apply it more effectively before returning to the previous tools.

This is why engaging developers who can use it practically is crucial.
